Some weddings are loud and wild — others are soft, sacred, and deeply personal. McKenzy and Troy’s wedding day was the kind that gently stays with you. This Art and History Museums of Maitland wedding was quiet in the most meaningful way: intentional, deeply rooted in love, and filled with details that reflected their personalities.

McKenzy & Troy are two reserved souls with a deep love for animals and a grounded presence that made their wedding feel more like a peaceful exhale than a whirlwind event. It was a joy to photograph every moment of their day — a day that perfectly embodied who they are as individuals and as a couple.

McKenzy and Troy chose a classic black and emerald green color palette, which brought richness and elegance to the already artful venue. The deep greens paired beautifully with the natural textures of Maitland’s architecture — from warm-toned stucco walls to ivy-covered garden paths. Every detail was refined, but never overdone — just like them.

The bridesmaids wore classic black gowns, while McKenzy stunned in a timeless gown that felt both ethereal and sophisticated. Troy looked sharp in a black tux, and the two shared one of the sweetest first touches I’ve ever captured. You could feel the emotion and giddiness buzzing just under the surface, especially in the quiet moments they shared between portraits and the ceremony.

Set against the historic charm of the Maitland Museums, the ceremony took place outdoors under soft light and a canopy of greenery surrounded by loved ones.

As a wedding photographer, I love big energy and party vibes — but there’s something about a quiet, emotional day that reminds me why I started doing this. McKenzy and Troy’s wedding was a testament to love that doesn’t need to shout to be heard. It was elegant without being flashy, intimate without being small.

McKenzy and Troy — thank you for trusting me to document your story. Your wedding was a calm and beautiful reminder of what really matters.

If you’re dreaming of a wedding filled with meaningful moments, artistic surroundings, and timeless color palettes — the Art & History Museums of Maitland is a truly unique venue here in Central Florida. I'd love to help you capture it all.
