Wekiva Springs Couples Session - Orlando, FL

We kicked off this session with Madi and Jonathan riding their longboards. It was such a fun way to get them to let loose and interact together while making for photos that really showcase who they are as a couple + what they love

As a photographer set on capturing the real moments, I always recommend that my couples bring along props that they can interact with and that are personal to them. Bikes, books, fishing poles, kayaks, surfboards, musical instruments. Basically any activity that is super meaningful and bonds you both.

In addition to providing more of a story to your session, (you know how I love creating cinematic images that tell a story!) this is also a great way for couples that feel extra uncomfortable in front of the camera to focus on something other than the camera at the beginning of the session.

We seriously couldn't stop laughing at this shoot, it was that fun!

Next, Madi + Jonathan switched into more formal attire and we headed to the springs.

Madi's ochre yellow dress paired with her bursting-with-color bouquet made for a stellar combo. It was so fitting for Madi, as she radiates warmth.

Jonathan kept it simple + understated wearing black skinny jeans with a white button up.

We ended their session by letting sparks fly.

I'm forever grateful for sweet couples like Madi + Jonathan that trust me to tell their beautiful love stories. As a photographer that's been in front of the camera a lot, I know how nerve wracking it can be to open up and be yourself. I always strive to create a fun + comfortable environment for my couples to just be themselves.
