As a big rule of thumb, I always try to meet couples before their wedding day. Wedding days are fast paced times with a lot of pressure, so meeting beforehand gives us a chance to break the ice under more controlled and relaxed circumstances. I want to walk into a wedding day knowing who you two are and have a level of trust established. Sometimes, due to different circumstances, we don't get a chance to meet beforehand. Since they're from the midwest, this was the case for Hailey & Paul.
From the moment I chatted with Hailey on the phone though, I knew that this wasn't going to be an issue. Conversation flowed easily between us and I could quickly tell that Hailey and I had that connection that would allow to work my magic on her wedding day.
I am so glad that I trusted that connection, because I was so happy to be a part of Hailey & Paul's day!
