I had the vision in my head for this shoot for a long time, so when Faae expressed how down she was to give it a shot, I was so stoked!!! I loved the aesthetics of Ari Aster's 2019 horror film Midsommar and it gave me so much inspiration for this concept. I wanted to give it more of an ethereal, joyful vibe rather than the dark and disturbing themes within the movie.
I deconstructed my old junior prom dress, made a flower crown, and we stuffed it with flowers galore. This was the result:
